Ariel Díaz is a New York–based Dominican-American singer-songwriter creating emotionally direct alternative pop-rock in English and Spanish. His work is defined less by a fixed production style than by a consistent songwriting sensibility: candid, melodic, sometimes wry, and willing to follow a song wherever its emotional logic leads.

Díaz began releasing music in 2026 with a sequence of songs that established his range. “Might As Well” and its Spanish-language counterpart, “Elegiste Bien,” pair breakup resolve with synth-pop-rock; “Shaped to Love” turns toward folk rock; “Got Me Fucked Up (Una Galleta)” collides industrial pop-rock, electronic pulse, and Latin elements in a bilingual response to political disillusionment; and “When It All Goes Down” / “Una Lágrima” brings country shading to a pop-rock ballad.

Working with producers Cody Fitzgerald, Tomas Iglesias, and Enrico Tiberi, Díaz treats each release as its own sonic world while preserving a recognizable center: intimate writing, a baritone voice, and an interest in turning private experience into shared meaning.
